I don't understand that guys argument.

He says that he is about having really good graphics, and the Wii is on old hardware. Why can't he push it's graphics to the limit then?

It is more of an INABILITY to work with the hardware than it is a disdain for it. That "Wii's graphics aren't good enough" crap makes no sense. Maybe the HD-elite don't like it, but there are almost 35 million people out there who don't give a damn.

GTA III/VC/SA > Saints Row/Saints Row 2

Saints Row/Saints Row 2 > GTA IV

I pretty much disagree with that.  The SR series suffers from lack of polish whereas GTAIV is a very polished game(some minor graphical gliches aside).  Also, GTAIV has a better story than almost every other sandbox game ever made.  Don't try that "SR2 is fun" crap because as fun as SR2 seems, GTAIV has a better overall package.

os wait your saying he doesnt know what fun is, while i might agree with you that gta, is better than saints row, its bull to say that gta has a better package than saints rows fun, if your not him/her

Gameplay: Saints Row 2

Lasting Appeal: Saints Row 2

Their pretty even in my opinion, but the important things in sandbox games are gameplay and the lasting appeal, so SR2 wins this battle easily.

By the way: Sandbox games usually don't have good stories.

GTA IV is good at this point, but the best sandbox story (and best graphics) has Assassin's Creed

Saints Rows 2 graphics ,or Saints Rows 1 for that matter ,are way beyond anything the Wii will ever manage.
Thats the way things are .Polygon count ,resolucion ,effects ,number of characters on screen ,frame rate ,everything is beyond the Wii capabilities .The Wii can do a sandbox game for sure ,as we have seen with Godfather and Godfather ,but both these were ports of the PS2 versions with slight enhacements and waggle throw in....the Wii can do a sandbox more or less like the PS2 maybe a bit more but Saints Rows is ,although inferior technically to GTAIV ,still way beyond the Wii limits .

Then I stopped myself and had a look at the Saint's row review on gametrailer. And by god this thing looks like a Ps2 game in HD. So if ANY PS360 game could be done on the Wii, this would be it.

(Besides the bad graphics it looked pretty fun. Like the fun low low class cousin of GTA4. You might not show her to your family but it may be fun.)

Forgot how great AC's story was. The story in that game made me look past the fact that the gameplay was repetitive at times. Can't wait for the sequel(not officially announced yet but it will happen since it was a huge sales success). Before both GTAIV and AC, I thought that every sandbox game ever made has mediocre at best stories(don't ask) but those two games made me realize I was totally wrong.

Of course they will. Wasn't it announced to be a trilogy ?
