I have Ps3 & Wii

imo....the wii is terrible as a gaming machine in comparison

The PS3 offers by far the most compelling and satisfying gaming experience.

Nothing on any other machine had ever come close to playing Metal Gear Solid 4 or Uncharted. I'd pay £300 alone for MGS4 it is that good.

Buy Uncharted, and then try and tell us it has no good games

Look who is generalizing and using nothing more but non-factual opinions about the clientele of VGChartz. it's a such a shame for anyone to stoop so low. However, since you wanted a reason why people or individuals here do prefer their PS3 over other consoles, here is a list of reasons why:

1) Overall, it is the cheapest system for next generation gaming and multimedia. No one can argue this this fact. No other console on the market offers a HD movie player, Divx player, cd player, mp3 player and digital photo album with a gaming console with motion controls for a price tag of only £300.

2) the online service is free and with Home around the corner as well as the numerous PSN updates, if not equal, it is better then XBL.

3) It has the most unique and possibly a better variety of downloadable games library then its competition.

4) It has several Exclusives which are just awesome:

a) Resistance FoM
b) Motorstorm
c) Uncharted
d) R&C: ToD
e) Warhawk
f) MGS4
g) GT5 Prologue
h) Afrika
j) LBP
k) Heavenly Sword
l) Buzz
m) Singstar
n) Eye of Judgement
o) Siren
p) Yakuza Kensen
q) Valkriya Chronicles

Not to mention the upcoming games that just look mind blowing. How can you call yourself a serious games if you have failed to either play some of the above games or not enjoyed them. Even some of the more biased members of VGChartz who favor the 360 agree that some of these games are awesome.

The above list doesn't even consist of the AAA PSN titles or any of the other futures, such as being able to browse the web with a browser or being able to use any SATA Hard Drive so you don't have to pay an extortionate amount of space.

Your lack of respect towards other users on this forum as well as your ignorance towards gaming makes your arguments flawed.

these two quotes define exactly the type of overly agressive and biased PS3 owner Burgles is refering to... and notice how Smashed's signature is a picture of FFXIII -> Hype&Hope

Burgle did not phrase his sentence properly and generalized, but here you have proof of the veracity of the claim that some PS3 users act like this.

Personnaly the reason i'm sick with PS3 is not because I don't like the games.... it's because of these PS3 owners that can't do anything but poluate the forums.

edit: actually seeing Burgles' posts in other threads tends to make me think he did not phrase his sentence improperly but did it on purpose... in any case it does not change my point... and just shows there is the same type of users on all consoles, but they seem to me more common on the PS ones this gen.
