Well of course it has selling power and GT5 should be no different. 6-7 million thereabouts depending on where PS3 hardware is at the time. If it's over 50 million by its release then brand could put it at about 10 million.

Based on what, your opinion.  What makes you think its worth anyhting, you have nothing to dipute fatcs.

There's no way GT5 will outsell the best selling GT ever, unless the ps3 manages to really pick up in sales.

I could see it breaking the 10 million mark however, though just barely.

1. The PS2 was at some 13M at the time of GT5's release. The PS3 is selling pretty well overall and probably won't stop selling soon.

2. Maybe, but GT5 will have even more stuff. Besides, I doubt they'll want to stick with Prologue anyway. You're group of people is probably too small.

3. On the PS3? I haven't heard of any high-profile ones; GT5 is the only one. Yes, brand name is always a huge factor.

4. I though the makers of Forza were working on something else? That is, Forza 3 will probably be delayed until pretty late. Besides, GT is a huge brand and still a different game from Forza so it won't be that big.  Some impact, yes, but you're exaggerating.

5. 2011? I doubt it. Without Prologue they seemed to be aiming for Mid-2009 but now GT5 might be delayed to 2010. No longer, though, unless something unexpected comes up.

Turn 10, the developers of Forza, or rumored to be working on PGR5 at the moment, since Bizarre Creations is now out of the picture.

GT5 is a major system Seller. We've known this for some time now.

It will easily sell 10M when it launches, I personally believe that PD have been told to take there time to make the game by Sony as the install base for PS3 is not yet at a point where 10M sales would be easy to achieve. If you look as how mant updates there have been for GT5 Prologue is to easy to see that GT5 is not being released yet simply due to install base.

Once the PS3 reaches 25M sales that will most probably be when Sony give PD the go ahead to release the game, people saying the PS3 needs to have sold 100M sales in order for GT5 to get 10M need to learn about market saturation.

Trust me...I love to love the GT series. It's the only stable Sony game i've been playing for the longest. The game will sell 5 M at the least and 8.5 M at the  highest.

S.T.A.G.E. it is painfully obvious you know absolutely nothing of markery saturation, would be best if you knew of it before predicting sales for GT5. GT5 prologue sold 2M and it is just an extended demo so GT5 will definitely sell at least 5M in it's first year.
