Metacritic.com,the review aggregating website,has just posted Variety.com's review of LittleBigPlanet.A score of 80/100 was posted for the review,a rather shocking score not because of the actual score being low;But because Variety.com does not hand out scores for its reviews...

Metacritic themselves have sunk to new lows

Variety --the site in question never gave any score to LBP. Metacritic themselves assigned the score to the game

LBP is averaging at 95% on Metacritic as we speak

According to metacritic's ASSUMPTION VARIETY gave Fable 2 an 9.8/10 and LBP an 8/10---ROFL

Uh huh... they "deliberately" assigned a "low" score to the game. If you look around a bit, you'll see that Metacritic assigns scores to "score-less" reviews all the time, based on the content of the review itself. If that bothers you, then don't use the site; just don't go making ridiculous claims asserting their "anti-Sony" bias.

You cant randomly assign a score when i never give out score

It is such a shame especially when ur website doesnt take into account lot of other websites which assign SCORES to Games

Actually, if you read the information on how the site works, they explain that assigning scores to reviews that are lacking them (based on the review content) is exactly what they do.  Why would they suddenly change that to please a fanatical Sony fan who takes offense at this practice?  Again, if you don't like the mechanics of the site, pay no attention to it.

^that's dumb man. if a reviewer didn't give a score, why would metacritic make up one and assign it to them? can they read minds?

i think, however, that its not deliberate. its just a stupid way of interpreting something that they shouldn't be interpreting in the first place.

LBP deserves a 10+. As a matter of fact, anything below 10 should be rounded up to 10 and leave those 11/10 and 12/10 alone.

They should ignore 13/10 though, that's just impossible score.
