Forums - Sales - The Official September NPD Thread (Data at 6:30 PM EST ~4 hours from now)

Yeah not bad overall. The NPD+10% isn't always the nicest reflection on us since 360 does very well in Central and Southern America, Madden doesn't do very well in Canada etc but at least it gives a reasonable idea of where we were close and where we were a little off.

Yea good point with Madden.  More than likely majority of sales for all Madden titles will come out of the U.S.

@MR.stickball

don't forget that 360 is over tracked by 120k(in the America which is us +10%)

Why don't we just have a United States chart so we don't have all these arguments about how X doesn't sell in Canada and Y sells really well in El Salvador.  I mean we have weekly hardware for Australia, and it only sold 29k hardware units total last week.

@ioi

sorry I was reading it wrong

@ioi
just a question,,,so how come are data shows almost 200,000 difference where NDP shows about 100,000 difference(between PS3 and 360)?

npd, just america, VG all of the americas, so ther could easily be more sales in say canada, or brazil, that would a count for the difference

come play minecraft @  mcg.hansrotech.com

minecraft name: hansrotec

XBL name: Goddog

Nintendo continues to own even in the face of an economic crisis.

360 does decent, but could've done better. PS3 did a bit better than expected.

360/Wii own the software charts.

And what's this? DMJ got banned? 'tis ashame, I know how much he enjoys his NPDs. I noticed him posting over at GAF, and they are lambasting him for his comment/prediction mismatch. Poor bastid.

I am always happy to see the Wii being undertracked, because this means that if there are any adjustments, they will be upwards.

I like it too RolStoppable, because the 50% market share comes nearer and nearer
