Because of the amount third-party publishers have to invest to produce a game for this generation, it's really hard for them to justify releasing on only one platform. We did expect more third-parties to go multi-platform. I'm very grateful that some key franchises, like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy, are staying exclusive to PS3.

can we agree that there is a deal between SE and Sony about FFxiii in Japan and it's not SE decision?

with all the SE support for 360 in Japan it's doesn't make sense that this one stayed exclusive unless there is a deal

This means SONY already knew about the FF13 multiplat announcement

i think it will come out for the 360 still in japan, just will be months down the road.

My guess is that it will remain exclusive in japan (or at least timed exclusive) and it's only because sony have had some sort of deal with SE, M$ already made it clear that they want to take over japan and they probably care about this title's availability on thier platform there.
