What?? I bought the Battle Chest :S

I'm not buying it original this time, I'll download it. And before that I need a new computer.

Starcraft II Battlechest Limited Edition with Bonus DVD and two expansions in 1.5 years FTW!

1. Not if the 3 sku's combined are appreciably longer/more in depth than one might have expected with 1 sku (and they probably will be, given the extra income generated). 

2. Sure they could sell them for cheaper.  Good business sense!  It's like you're George W. Bush in charge of an oil company!

3. But if you want to pirate the Zerg and Protoss campaigns, you will wait till their release, pirate scum.

Another thing that is worrying me is the fact that they say each game will not be left on a cliff hanger and each will come to a full fruition. Kinda worried about that since I want to see the three races interacting with each other and things be progressive. What would Warcraft 3 have looked like if they ahd adopted this strategy? I doubt I would have been in a rush to play through the Orc campaign after I unleashed Archimonde upon the world, if that conflict was already resolved somehow. That would also remove the entire NE campaign....

I'm really hoping they don't fuck this stuff up and don't ask for ridiculous prices.

And this game drops even further down in my eyes.
I already wasn't planning on buying it until the price dropped because, in my eyes, they've improved graphics, added a few units, but there's no major gameplay changes. It feels like an expansion pack and I'll keep that in mind when I decide how much to pay.
Now, I'll wait until I can get all three campaigns for a decent price - $50 Au or so, and if this means I have to wait years then so be it

Well if the others are as cheap as normal expansions... I guess I don't mind paying more for a game I might play as long as I played the first one... which was eternity and counting.

I really loved the campaigns last time, so if they're pouring more of their beautiful Blizzardly heart and souls into these campaigns, it won't hurt me to cough up some extra scratch.

(I'd only do this for 3 companies.)

i was like wtf at first, but you don't realise this is expansion packs... like.. wc3 frozen throne. Sure they have it all planned out now, but as he said each pack will add content to the multiplayer aswell.. = expansion pack. (so it can't be full priced either... luckely)

I've been monitoring the general SC2 forums on bnet and someone brought up a really nice point. If all 3 are just like parts of a game or expansions, would that mean that mean the following:

Terran owners only can play MP with other Terran owners
Protos owners -----------------//--------------- Protoss owners
same for Zerg.


Adnt then you have all the combinations of two's and the final triple, would you be allowed to play only with people who have the given combination.

Of course not, multiplayer will be the same across every SKU.

Well he says they will augment the multiplayer with each release. How are they gonna keep everything nice and even?
