You have absolutely nothing to worry about with Gran Turismo, Killzone 2, God of War 3 and Resistance 2.

GT, God of War and Killzone are Sony Computer Entertainment franchises, and Insomniac has proved itself loyal to

Sony so you won't see Resistance or Ratchet and Clank on 360.

Even though they're developed by Insomniac, Sony does own the Resistance and Ratchet & Clank IPs.

They also own the White Knight CHronicles IP, as well as a few other Level 5 IPs (Dark Cloud being the most notable).  And they own the Sly Cooper and inFamous IPs, developed by Sucker Punch.

And then there are Sony's other franchise, like Uncharted, Jak & Daxter, Wipeout, Twisted Metal, Ape Escape, Siren, Socom, MotorStorm, etc.

Why does it matter if PS3 games are also appearing on another console :?!?

This makes you want to "leave" Sony?

The plus side, is there are likely to be more 360 games that *could* have been exclusives, now appearing on the PS3 as well.

Dude how could you be this surprised about Tekken 6? What made you think it would stay exclusive? If anything, I was shocked that a game like MGS4 stayed exclusive.

Don't be so hard on yourself....PS3 is about to get the 360's highest rated exclusive to date. It has been a two way street of taking exclusives from one another.

 

 

yes the thing is that PS3 suposse to be exclusive tittles that goes to multiplat. are big franchises with huge succes and that's why u can't notice more when 360 takes a tittle for ps3. and games from 360 that go to PS3 are not that big.

Snake, which in your opinion is the best Tekken of the series? for me its two, so this isn't such a bad loss. Losing Soul blade to the dreamcast was a much bigger thing for me at the time due to it being the greatest fighter i had ever played. What happened to that? soul calibur on the DC was the best, always seems to be the second iteration that is the best so why mourn the loss of exclusivity of a game that is slowly slipping into mediocrity?

Sony does care if you leave, you won't buy games if you leave.

Anyway, there are way more PS3 exclusives to come. If you like GoW, you'll get GoW3, a new ICO game, and probably Twisted Metal too. Expect for PS3 exclusives to come from first and second parties.

 Marvel MMO was canned ages ago. The same team working on it does have a Champions based MMO (almost certainly using all the work from the Marvel MMO for it) coming out, but it is a 360/PC title. You are probably thinking of the DC MMO that is coming out for the PS3/PC made by SOE.

Tekken isn't that great. I was more shocked FF13 went multi-plat.

PS3 still has more exclusives than 360 though.


360 only really has Gears of War, Halo, Mass Effect. Like they've got Forza which sells less than Gran Turismo and isn't as good. 360 pretty much lost Bioshock.

But anyways, just cause they're multi-plat you can still play em. Just like insomniac17 said.

I just got a PS3 a few days ago (in addition to my Wii) and as long as titles are still made available to me and with identical features I don't really care about multi-platform releases. I'll admit that timed exclusives are annoying though. Is there any good reason for publishers to release timed exclusives other than bribes from MS or Sony?

I can't think of any except bribes because it ultimately reduces the # of purchasers on the other console due to the perception of it being an old game. does anyone expect bioshock ps3 to do well in the midst of a slew of new releases? watch it fail hard. I know I'm skipping but I would have bought it at it's original launch
