IMO PS3 owners belittle perceived exclusive games whenever it is ported to the 360. Example is Tekken. Another is FFXIII (now they call Square Enix 'squeenix' to make it funny sounding).

IMO PS3 owners belittle ported games from the 360. Example is Bioshock.

IMO PS3 owners won't care if the game is available for ALL systems (which includes the Wii). Example is The Force Unleashed.

I think PS3 owners are hard to please. You're still getting Tekken. It just so happens that your 360 brothers are getting the chance to get one, too. Why don't you two camps get along????

Shouldn't both camps be happy? Look at me, I'm a Wii owner. I won't have Tekken!

You are talking about Halo there, most incredibly popular games sell well anyway. Mario Sunshine sold over 6 million on the GC. Gran Turismo 5 will outsell Gears of War easy and might beat Halo too, Europe will see to that.

 

 

 

Dude...lol in terms of sales Gran Turismo is Sony's Halo. It will be Sony's only over 5 M seller in 09.

GT5 is not coming out in 2009, in a recent article the PD head said they are not even thinking about GT5 at all and 2009 is completely out of the question.  Even 2010 was not 100% from the way he said it.

Not that surprised actually, i was expecting it to release this fall but when rumours said that it will go multi and they wont show it on Tgs i knew it altough im still gonna buy it cause its one of my favorite series the big problem is that u have to wait a whole year.

Tekken IS AHuge blow, For people who Don't have a 360/PS3 yet, They can Get ESTABLISHED Franchises on cheaper 360 Eg GTA/FFXII/DMC/Tekken6 . For people Entering the Nxt Gen 360 is cheaper so they'll prob by that. I Can't blame them. Its half the price. The only Huge Sequel thats left is GT5. All the other PS3 Exclusives are Mostly new Ips which people of last gen don't know about

Yes.....because Gears, Halo, and Fable are all 3rd party games that could go multiplatform to recoup costs.

And last I checked, a single Gran Turismo (GT3 A-Spec) has sold more than Halo 3 and Gears combined. That's not possible now unless 100% of the PS3 install bought GT5 when it comes out....but Sony does have games that sell gangbusters.

I hate Tekken. Keep that garbage off my 360 :(

How about we get one of the better PS3 titles, like White Knight Chronicles, instead of this hasbeen of a fighting franchise.
