I am once again amused by Kwaad's predicting abilities (if anyone remembers, he said that the PS3 would outsell the Wii in the US back in March. He was off by a mere 168556 units).

Thus far, if you count both weeks in July, the Wii is 315,249 units ahead of the PS3; or, if you'd prefer to go by NPD weeks (this is the first week of July for them), it's 165866 ahead based on this week alone. For anyone doing the math -- yes, despite the price drop, the Wii actually outsold the PS3 by more units Worldwide this week than it did last week. 

In short, Kwaad's prediction is off to another great start!  

Yes I would bet the farm that Kwaad will be our first elimation. Also September will be a big elimation month as well.

I don't think Nintendo will survive through the Christmas shopping period outselling both PS3 and Xbox360. I say December. Wii will still be first overall, though

Might I make a suggestion.....

Once X-mas comes let people post their revised numbers...still hold them to the original, but I think it would be cool to see how people's opinions have changed after x-mas if at all.

Edit: On that note, this thread will probably be long dead by then but it would be interesting, if someone does remember, we should lock the thread at thanksgiving and then repost a new thread on Jan 1st and let people put down their post X-mas predictions. 

That's a really hard question, I think the Wii will sell better then PS3 and Xbox 360 during the holidays thinking of all the games coming out: Metroid, Galaxy and Brawl etc.

So my guess is: March 2008

Ah, Damn! Are you talking abou combined WW monthly sales? PS3 + Xbox 360?
