Unconditional perhaps, but Ninty are defintaley getting the most love all in all. Almost any thread reveals that.

Possibly because their games and hardware are usually on time, cheaper than the competition and live up to the expectations of their intended audience? It's not hard to come out with what their market want, but MS and Sony seem to be having a hard time delivering.

As others have already pointed out, though there is a lot of hate right now it is nothing compared to last year when Sony was really down. Sony was accused of-

1.Being arrogant - True to an extent
2. Forcing a new video format - True
3. Having no games - Was harsh because it takes time to get quality games out and Sony released the ps3 late as opposed to the 360 so it made it's game library look even worse.
4. Being too expensive - Sony launched at a very high price but they actually sold their consoles at a loss. It came with a lot of new and unproven technology thus making it more expensive and more difficult to program for.

These are just a few things people were targeting Sony on, sometimes rightfully so and sometimes not. In my honest opinion I think that while Sony definately made mistakes, they have corrected many and the continuing competition from Microsoft and Nintendo will insure that they are on their game.

And ultimately it doesn't matter how well Sony does because there will always be haters and fanboys on all sides.

Cause they killed Sega....On a real note it goes in cycles depending on how each consoles are doing...

That would be Jack Tretton you are referring too, and it was actually $1200 for any PS3 that was on shelves in North America. But ya, I think he kind of let that one slip and didn't really mean it (or he would be in dept, I live in Canada, and pretty much any gaming store had at least 3-5 PS3s, btw, I do own one :D).

I'm curious as to how it "anally raped" Mario? It might have beaten Nintendo by a landslide the last 2 generations, but that doesn't mean it "anally raped" Mario. You might also want to choose more intelligent choice of words.

Anyways, I think one of the main reasons is because of Sony's arrogance, and it's fanboys. It seems it's fanboys are the loudest right now, and I keep seeing these topics and people posting in their sigs how Sony will take this generation and beat the 360 and Wii. You could say it's provoked.

I think most of the hate comes from Sony promising so much and yet delivering on almost nothing but having the best Blu Ray player. The Wii stole the casual crowd and the 360 has shown that it can play games just as good (and in some cases better) then the PS3.

This story is way way old, it happened after E3 2007 i think, when GTA 4 was announced to launch on both consoles
