This is interesting. I'm curious to see how the numbers look for the PS3 this week. I'm honestly really surprised by the uproar in sales as I didn't think 500 was going to be the right number for the PS3. I can't wait to see what kind of numbers we're looking at and how long they will continue this way.

500 K IS A LOT.

If it sells 300k Sony can be happy (but in my opinion still a lot).

 Global they sell around 200k a month so I guess 300 k this month is possible.

Well ,300K or 500K is definitely out of question for a single week .
June data should be the same as before the price cut ,but being a 5 week maybe it can be around 110K units .The sales for July could well lift themselves to the 200k+ level for the first time since january .
