it may be the last week, but the fact that they have been above the PS3 for three weeks is an accomplishment.

 

And there are other games coming out that might give them another boost, so this won't be the last time.

The PSP3000 should bring in some profit for the Sony boys (maybe they're doing this to increase profits, so that they can offset PS3-losses.  If this is a calculated step, then they may decrease the price in Japan / US for the PS3, countering its increased loss with the PSP3000), but the PS3 should step up to the plate too...

I have to ask, is Nintendo stealing DS's by which forcing previous owners to buy the handheld again???!! It seems that everyone and their mother in JAPAN has a ds now, how is this thing still selling???!! Does each person buy 3 per family member now???

FYI: The low Wii sales also happened around this time last year. This is a traditionally slow sales period in Japan.
