Forums - Nintendo - Square Gains Weight, Intrigued By Wii Balance Board

Almost every idea that you guys come up with requires Wiimotes and Wiiboard at the same time...they never showed the two in conjunction, did they? That's what I'm worried about.

you are right, this is a thing to worry, maybe the wii balance board is only to games like wii fit or is only to wii fit, but i dont think that nintendo let go the opportunities of the wii balance board, in the videos of the E3 i see that to select games in wii fit you have to use the wiimote so i think wiimote and wiiboard can work together.

I did notice in the promo trailer for Wii Fit that in the first scene the redhead girl has a wiimote in her hand

think about it... combine wiimote with wiiboard for a light sabre battle. 1:1 dodging could be fun and at the same time, going to break some hips :)

ok...I wasn't sure...how does it work then? By taking the player 2 port or what?

That wasn't shown. That was my assumption as well, though.

That's what I figure as well...which means 4 player games with both WiiBoards and Wiimotes is out of the question...

Oh well...Time Crisis is 2-player...that's what matters...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Time Crisis, in the arcade, has an action pedal you step on to step out before you shoot and stuff, and you release it when you need to reload and hide. It seems the Wii Balance Board would be perfect for such a thing. That's what the comment has to do with the thread.

Daisy-chained USB?

That'd finally give the Wii's USB ports some "official" use.
