Forums - Sales - Fable 2 Co-op only possible on 360, but pter likes the PS3 too

molly is reffering to the section on xbox live where, u can drop in out just by clicking away. if ur buddy is playing fable u wil be able to join him by joining his game from the blades menue. co-op easily works on both platforms, currently psn doesnt have a service like that, it has it in home but not direct from xmb

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Yep. of course PSN Isn't as mature as Live. Live was available with XBOX 1.

Very true. I wonder how SEGA's service would have been if they we're here. I think they tried to tackle online with the dreamcast right?

My bad, that's the console I meant. But yea, this is why I was asking, Sega tried online on consoles b4 everyone else right? Am wondering how thier console would have been today... their online service anyway.

@dbot

yes it is an example of the same kind of thing.... now we all know how ridiculous it is dont we?

oh.. and there is nothing ironic about it... it will be along presently thanks.

Was your original thread a parody of "Sony Fanboys"?

I know the co-op is coming along.  No need to get your panties in a bunch.  I was just pointing out that it is ironic that the one feature the could not be done on the PS3 isn't in the shipping release of the game.  Maybe your definition of irony is different than mine.  Anyway, it should be a great game.  I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

holy shit!!! even emulators allow net play, what kind of shit this guy is smoking???
I play old ass nes games online with friends and I thought I were playing "Double Dragon" the Co-Op way.

@dgc I dont' think it would beat Live, I had a Dreamcast so I don't know anything about Saturn's online capabilities, but lag was frequent, and playing with someone you know wasn't easy.

-=Dew the disco dancing fo da Unco Graham=-

In this generation, I honestly believe that if anything is "only possible on"...it's the PS3. Last gen, it was the original Xbox.

To say that Fable online co-op is "only possible on the 360" is just one big joke. There's online co-op modes on given games for the Wii, for Christ's sake

Those systems used a dial up modem. And that was about 6 years before the xbox so yeah...at that time it was worse. But with todays technology it could have been much better...even better than live if it was developed more.

Actually Nintendo was first, they had an online system on the NES, in Japan at least.
