That would be a good point superchunk, but you don't have to create your own levels. There will be plenty of people who will be making stages, I mean, even if only ten thousand people make one good level a piece, that'd be 10k levels to play through.

I don't think that lacking ability to make your own content is going to hurt the game too much.

That will require internet connection to get. What % of PS3's are connected?

Still, there is more against this game selling more than 5 million that there is for it.

I'm still convinced it will settle at a very respectible and quite good 2-3 million LTD.

There were ten million or so registered PSN accounts some time ago, so I'll go weak and say 66 percent of PS3s, so as long as 10k of them make one single good level, I'll be happy.

Hell, if 1k of them make a good level it'll be an awesome bang for your buck.

How many platformers do you know that have 1k levels?

I never said it wasn't going to be a decent game. All I'm saying is that it won't attract the mass consumer like GTA or Mario Kart does. Therefore 2-3 million is where I'm pegging it.

Okay then.

So we agree that no one has to make a level to enjoy this game one bit.

I just wanted to debunk your train of thought that you had to be someone who created levels to enjoy the game, and since you don't lots of people can theoretically buy the game.

Gears of War 2, Wii Music, and maybe Animal Crossing obviously have the best chance.  Little Big Planet is a big gamble, it should sell well but theres no way it will do better than some of the other games on the list. If you voted for Resistance 2 or Fable 2, you should be banned from future polls and from rating games, you're just an illogical fanboy.

I dont know if to vote for Animal crossing or LittleBigPlanet.

I will wait and think about it for a bit, Animal crossing is a sure win but LittleBigPlanet could be a surprise hit, i dont know, if LBP does good it will do really good, if it flops it is going to FLOP.

The votes are close, but I WiiMusic will sell the most, even thought It's GARBAGE

^_^

I knew it was between gears of war, animal crossing, and wii music. So I picked animal crossing.

Animal Crossing, it has appeal in all 3 regions and the DS version has been a huge hit. GoW2 will see long term sales diminished by the release of the next big shooter next year and the inevitable GoW2 in 2 years time. Wii Music smells like a flop to me, Fable 2 will sell well but below GoW2 levels and the PS3 releases will be gimped by user base (RFoM2) and being created for a casual market the PS3 doesn't have (LBP).

so 27.35% of you think LBP will outsell gears, wii music, and AC? lol @ sony fanboys

Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)

Toss up between AC, WiiMusic & LBP. LBP is too much of an unknown for now, although it could become the best seller on the PS3.

Its an even split between AC & WiiMusic - I think WiiMusic will have better legs, and could be a easy "discount" seller (cheap priced) - plus it has the "Wii xxx" name.

So I voted WiiMusic, although it could be toppled by AC if it does really well.
