Many people don't think that this console generation is worth jumping into yet and that's understandable.

They dont see the need to get one yet, hopefully eye pet will have a big impact for Sony

Lol Sephiroth's points are all opinions of his own.

Just because you were pleased with your PS2 in the first year and you are not pleased with your PS3 does not mean all gamers think like you do or that your opinion has caused many gamers to give up on gaming. You would have to be an idiot to use your own preference of PS2 over PS3 as a justfication of gamer populations and interest declining.

Everyday I'm hustlin'.

Wii and DS owner.

main reason is "we are waiting the ps3 to drop price"

until it gets a 299$ price ww sales are not gonna pick up.

Yes, its called first person point of view, not third.

^ Not to say that it would take a huge piece of PS2 buyers out of the mix but.. what about those who bought multiple PS2's.

Pixel Art can be fun.

The 360 is selling faster than the X-box, the Wii is selling phenomenally greater than the Gamecube and the PS3, despite selling much lower than the PS2, is still selling better than either of the second or third place consoles last gen. The gamers are gaming. Sure many are waiting for the current gen consoles to become cheaper or specific games to come out, but by and large this gen is kicking last gens ass.

It's a glorious time to be a gamer.

I agree with all except the last statement.  This generation is good, but, I think the next generation will be more defining then this one.  This one is about broadening the gaming audience.

I see this generation as a transition generation to define consoles roles in the home and entertainment industry.  Next, generation should help them mature with the good ideas of each console being implemented in all consoles...  (Faster worldwide accessible networks + PS3's power and Home ideas + 360's Live and Marketplace + Wii's motion controls + more entertainment peripherals like driving wheels, instruments, etc. + true high definition for everything at 40-60 fps = New definition of gaming and every console will be capable of all of them)

Please, no. I don't want my nice high-definition 3D vision PS4 tainted by motion sensing. Let's leave that for the casual gamers.

By that logic, Lair tainted the PS3 with Sixaxis controls, which is why it sucked.  Also Lair is a casual game.
