Ah Lu Bu. He was a toughy in DW2, but in DW3 he was pretty easy, provided you knew how to fight him. He just took a while.

Haven't played any of the other DWs, though.

I'm terrified of him, cos I usually play at a difficulty level where it's pretty tough to start with, so when he rocks up he's completely impossible. But he holds my all-time PB of 5123 kills in one stage, so I love him for that (Hu Lao Gate-Dong Zhuo scenario-DW5).

ah lu bu....or as i like to call him jesus with a spear. he is one talented asian warrior....but nothing a shit load of time to defeat cant fix. my personal favorite tactic was to knock him off his horse and steal his horse. then run around on the horse hitting him, and if i was playing co-op have the other person doing the same or shooting him with arrows

You can love him and hate him at the same time. It was fun using him to clear out 20 or so guys in the same screen. To kill him it would take me almost 15 minutes of repetitive hit-and-run tactics in his head while avoiding getting hit. One freakin hit takes away 3/4 of your life bar. On the hardest settings I've almost been killed with one swipe.

Pick up Romance of The Three Kingdoms novels at the library and learn about Lu Bu. If you like reading.
