Wowie. Even a promising looking Sonic game by a talented developer turns out crap.
What hope is there now for Sonic Unleashed and the other one on Wii?

Only thing left is the new Sonic game that will be released on the PS3/Xbox 360.

Sega should just retire the franchise. I gave up on the franchise when it left the Sega Genesis. I knew Sega wo uld use Sonic a lot. So they can be saved in the console wars. But the franchise failed and lost steam. After Sonic the Hedgehog 2, I lost complete interest in the series.

 

 I agree 100%, sept i lost interest on the gamecube version of sonic adventure 2, after that it went downhill imo, Heros,Shadow,etc...

I still have yet to play Sonic the hedgehog on any next gen format, i hear so much negativity about im scared to pick it up for 10 bux on amazon, they say it aint even worth a mc donalds meal. wtf? cant be that bad...can it? O_O

Well there is a huge different Sonic the Hedgehog on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

 "a catastrophic loss in control" Yikes sounds like Sonic 2006 was...off... anyways i still say its worth a buy for 10 bux, better then nothin i guess, and the newer one seems to be old-school style gone next gen..that should be interesting, im no longer a big fan of sonic but would mind a half hour or so just to check out the pretty graphics of sonic 06. :P

well not too surprising.

Biowares only good games are KotOR, Baldurs Gate series and Neverwinter nights series.  (neverwinter isn't as good as baulders gate and been going downhill as well)

The rest have been big let downs. I was bored to death in mass effect and looks like they couldn't make this sonic game any good either.

They didn't make NWN2. And I agree, they should make NWN themselves, with the 4.0 rule set.

lol its sad that some people aren't going to buy it now because of the rating it got by one site that usually has some medicore reviews. im still looking foward to it.

That's disappointing to hear I was really wanting to play a bioware game and don't own a 360. Still, that's one person's opinion. Other sites have giving it good scores and I'll wait to see what Rolstoppable has to say before I discard this game.
