I just feel like the main difficulty in the game comes from battling the controls/three plane set-up, not any actual obstacles in the level designs. I could see some user-made single plane levels being really good, though.

Well if thats the extent of the complaints so far then that's very impressive. I think some people will be doing crow eating (you know who you are) when the reviews start coming out.

Just spent a couple of hours playing... best game ever, pretty much
The story mode is pretty good, I love Stephen Fry as I have said before, and he is brilliant as the narrator. The story mode does a very good job of making good levels, and I was playing 2 player co-op, and I though the competitive aspect of getting the bubbles really worked well.
My only complaint is the lack of stuff they give you to put on your sackboy, so mine is just the standard one with a mustache and silly eyes, but the little things like getting him to wave his hands and then you can use the SIXAXIS to get him to move his head or his body, those are just awesome
As for the create mode, it is certainly not for the casual. You have to watch a tutorial before you do anything, and I think they could have better organised it so that you go through the tutorials before you are let loose. However, I still want more stuff to play with, so I am still struggling a little on that front, but there are some awesome things there, and so I think if I just finish the rest of the tutorials, I will really get it, and it just seems to easy to make really cool stuff
Oh yeah, and you can slap your co-op partner and knock him over... I just haven't worked out how

It sucks a bunch more keys were released today on european websites while I was in school.
Thought that I should note that while searching for keys after getting home from school I stumbled across a large number of people that claim to have called in sick to work/school to either play the game or be ready to apply for keys.
