@hideok had to kill my lofty ambitions lol its unlikely but a guy can dream. probably hit maybe the 80 mark as im really struggling to find time and i'd really like to get the mag and demon souls plat as my challenge for the year.

picked up the annoying eyepet motion plat with my lil boy so 1 down 42 to go lol waiting or brother to get dead rising 2 and dead nation so could b 2 more but unlikely and il steal his new vegas copy at some point lol

Thought I was going to have Dragon Age plat by the update but ran into an issue with romancing Leliana, apparently if you get her approval too high too early on, she wont give you her quest, and in return you cant romance her.  i lowered her approval with some crappy gifts and got the quest but now i have to get the approval back up and hope for the best, she is the last romance i need done then i just have a few trophies left.  Still love the game but its buggy as hell

@Ail lol warhawk is a crazy mans platinum iv sunk many an hour into that, white knight and star ocean arent my type of games, im tempted by gt5 but im more an arcade racer than a purest so have my doubts, had disgea 3 but no patch for trophys so failed before i begun, working on MAG and nearly on my second army with most the ribbons and kills done just medals are the killer for that in stopping me, mlb isnt my kind of sport to get into and iv heard nothing of  agaerst war apart from some brief mentions here but may be tempting

I already have the WKC plat, and I own MAG, Disgaea 3, GT5 and Star Ocean 4, which I will happily try to plat sometime this year. I want to buy Record of Agarest War, but that will have to wait until I get a bigger hard drive or a newer PS3.

Gah.... I beat that on Saturday and tried to go through some of it for more trophies.  I just don't think I can bring myself to search out all the damn tech orbs.  What an obnoxious trophy.  The checkpoint/chapter system is also a complete pain in the ass for trying to do something at the end of the chapter (the save Trip in so many seconds trophies, for example).

After playing the game first on hard, and then trying to do clean up on Easy, I'm convinced that the checkpoints are even more lame on Easy.  I spent a good hour trying to fight the rhino without getting hit because it kept restarting me at the beginning, but when I played on hard, there were several checkpoints within the battle.

Good on you for pushing through the annoying crap :)

 

yeah, the game has its flaws, with the checkpoint system and the collecting orbs being two major ones.

but still... I loved the game! I don´t know why... but games from ninja theory (heavenly sword and enslaved) really have something that makes me like them so much, despite both games are far from being flawless. the characters, the story, the gameplay  - for not trying to be another action/smash buttons.. I don´t know. I really hate games where you have to protect someone, and in enslaved you do this almost 90% of the game... but still... really good game!

for me it´s a 7.5 - 8 game... a medium but so good, really got me... more than some 9 games.

I'm quite impressed at how high up the list people with single digit (even zero) platinums have climbed. Though I suppose 1 plat = 12 bronze it's to be expected.

Yeah, impressing to see some people with less than 10 plats in top 50 ! And then a bunch of people with a crazy number in the top !

 

As for me, I've made my first hour of Demon's Soul this morning, and, as I was looking for another RPG to plat, I believe I'll try it. Got my first bronze trophy this morning, haha
