I don't buy this idea then Famitsu reviews are mainly based on hype.

Also, am I to believe that IGN/Gamespot/Gamepro etc. never let hype get in the way of their reviews?

Famitsu stated it themselves :3

Of course other sites don't get hype in the way, but Famitsu is all community hype unlike the other sites.

I'm suprised the Japanese gamers weren't outraged by this when they admitted it

You have to advertise something for it to get hyped.

This got no advertising what-so-ever.

How does a game get hyped if it is not advertised?

I am not buying it.

Duh.  Advertising is way more important when the game comes out then when the game is over a year away.
