Hmmm, so why many people are interested in playing this game? I'm sorry, but I don't know much of this game. I've seen pics and looks great, but other than that? Is it a platformer? Adventure? What?

It's a platformer that emphasizes player made content whether it be levels, objects, costumes and others and the distribution of this content through online play.

Well, if players have to make levels, etc. then I don't think a lot of "casual" players will be interested in it. I thought casual players preferred Pick up'n play games. Even some traditional players don't like Creating/Editing things. Hmm don't know, I need to see some videos first.

Wii Music is the one Nintendo title it seems Nintendo fanboys are even hoping fails.

The central gameplay mechanic is using a small sack creature in a 2D sidescrolling fashion to complete tasks, platform jumping/boss fighting/riding vechiles, to go from one end of a level to another.

It's pseudo-SMB because Sackboy's chief form of action seems to be jumping accompanied by grabbing devices to complete these tasks.

Pixel Art can be fun.

A 2d platformer then. Well that's fine, sounds good and looks great.... for the traditional market. I don't see the new market buying PS3 for this game.

I know a fair number of the "Wii Music is Hitler on a CD" are sarcastic, but oh well. I want it to do amazingly well.

LBP is not a casual game... you can't just pick it up and start playing... the game at it's simplest is on the level of Braid and at it's most difficult probably on the level of coding for Basic(which is fairly simple, but not to the casual PC user).

I'm quite offended by Wii music's existance actually.

I still don't get how people think that Wii Music will be a hardware seller. Can someone please explan to me why people think Wii Music will push hardware.

Oh, and LBP will be huge.

It says wii on it

lol :P

Well TBH Wii Music will probably sell tons more then LBP. Im not expecting LBP to be an instant hit, but I am expecting it to have Wii games legs... it wont have a huge week, but the fact that it will have a good buzz and it will expand over time will help it reach the 3 million+ regions IMO :)

Why are they so many Wii Music threads? It's not a game. It's activity software. Why don't people have a problem with Endless Ocean. Games require objectives, goals and rules that may provide fun. Wii Music does not have objectives, goals and rules. it's entire purpose being enjoyment.

LBP is a cool game idea and is a game. LBP is a better game. LBP will not have the impact of Wii Music. LBP is trying to sell the most expensive machine that caters to core gamers, media junkies and sports players. Core PS gamers have a PS3 and LBP won't appeal to sports players or media junkies.

Wii Music is meant for my 8 year old daughter and her 51 year old grandmother to have some fun cheaply on a rainy day. Neither of them are going to fork over that much money for LBP.

Wii Music wins. I would rather play LBP if I had a PS3.

If I gave you a $1 for each time I have asked myself that question you would be richer than Bill Gates by now.

On topic Wii Music will blow LBP away in sales and it won't even be remotely close.
