Ps3 owners are starved for good RPGs so I think this game will sell well if they advertise it. If it's not advertised I don't know how a year old port will make it's way into many homes. Strategy RPGS aren't Jrpgs because with games like Disagea (spelled wrong probably) you get to use the battle field to move and strategise your attacks. They're also very level grinding intensive sometimes and have a lot of gameplay. They also usually have a steeper learning curve then traditional jrpg.

I don't think Trusty Bell will give the PS3 the boost some people are thinking. Despite the additions it a port of a game that is over a year old in Japan. I think the PS3 sales numbers will remain in the 8 to 10k range and the game itself will sell 35 to 40k the first week.

I think looking at Enchanted Arms and Ninja Gaiden Sigma would be the best comparible titles...IMO.

People are putting too much faith in Japanese sales as if they are the end all be all. They will buy what they want, in America we're obviously more valuable to Sony, because our sales points alone are much higher. This gen is extremely different from last gen. Sales are slower for HD consoles. The problem with Sony fanboys is that they stick to the same ideology that they had since the first Sony system. Times change and you must adapt coginitively.

OT, where did you get the number for Disgaea 3? There doesn't seem to be any here. Anyway D3 is one of these game you hear alot about on forum but doesn't have epic number yet everybody think it sell like crazy. Still, I can't understand why NIS didn't do like Atlus with Persona 4 and release the game on PS2, it's not like it needed the extra power.
