Agreed on Blizzard, Valve, and id Software. For me though, old Westwood Studios PC games were masterpieces of similar cailber. Sadly, the quality of their games plummetted around the time they were acquired by Electronic Arts.

NES: Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. A great Mario game with Duck Hunt on the side what's not to like.

SNES: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. My favorite game of all time. Simply amazing.

N64: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This one was tough to choose. I like Majora's Mask more but Ocarina is a masterpiece. Then there was Mario 64 which is also a masterpiece but he said pick one so I picked my favorite of the 2.

Gamecube: Metroid Prime. The atmosphere in this game is amazing. You feel like you are on a different world.

Very true... I was loyal to them up to the end. I still have Emperor somewhere lying around my house. And their take on Diablo 2 with Nox wasn't THAT bad, pretty fun actually. WW is the main reason why I don't like EA.
