500K is about right, if not slightly high.

It also depends on how good the title will be. With good online MP it can have good legs unlike must PS3 titles.

Kingdom Hearts may not have FF in its name but it has its characters which could be counted to what i meant in my original post.
I don't think most of the japanese folks are actually buying KH for Mickey Mouse and Co.
Without all the FF allusions it wouldn't ever had that high sales figures.

Though the marketing in Japan will probably be massive, I can't see it hitting 1mil LTD there alone. Just not enough PS3's at the moment. It does have the potential to be a million seller worldwide though, again, depending on marketing and assuming that the worldwide installed base has grown a fair bit by the time it releases..

OT: I'll go conservative and say 300-400k if it has good advertising.

How many PS3 games in Japan have sold a million? Only 5 games have sold more than 300k and all of them are established franchises.

Not in Japan if I'm correct no Level 5 RPG has sold over 1 million in japan besides Dragon Quest(I don't think they ever developed a FF game).
