Why would the Japanese Ps3's need an update and downloading it will do something for them but not a Ps3 outside of japan and why is the update availble anyways?

Hmm oh well I installed it already. Was hoping for some new features but no matter. Would be great if the updates gave a short description of features before we choose to download them.

The japanese video store is supposed to go up by the end of the month. It must add somthing for that feature, such as a DRM. I expect the next Firmware update to be fairly impressive since we have not had one since July 2. If they can get Home out by late October to early November I would have no problem waiting. Just imagine 2.5 features:

-Playstation Official Blue Tooth Headphone Advanced Features
-Life With Playstation
-Cross Chat Between All Games
-Playstation Home

I would be having a seizure of enjoyment if that happend.

I want the ability to do game and system updates in the background. I've had the PS3 for 3 days and I feel (just feel) that I've spent more time updating then playing.

Warhawk and Soulcalibur are freaking awesome btw. Still haven't played Burnout Paradise yet.



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
