I'm still not sold on the 60 player matches, the only word that comes to mind is clusterf*ck.

The video made Resistance look like just another run and gun shooter in the vein of Halo, which in and of itself is not a bad thing, but I think it may be a poor mix with the horror themed story. I think Gears' style of combat is a much better fit.

Both will sell well though Gears will sell more. This video gave the multiplayer edge to Resistance, but I think that in the long run, the community will be stronger for Gears.

what i know that many sites said that GOW 2 have better graphics ... this is only a blind fan video.

There is a thread floating around where a GameStop Manager who got to play both, stated that the latest build of R2 looks better then the latest build of Gears2. He hinted that me still liked Gears game play better however.

R2 isnt playable, only the private beta which came out after e3.

I think both look great. However, Gears 1 was awesome, and Resistance 1 was a generic shooter. I'm fairly certain Gears 2 will score higher on the meta/gamerankings sites, just because of preview hipocrasy. The rest is opinion.

I think it'd be a tough road to hoe, for R2 to outgraphics Gears 2 from the E3 demos, though.

Of course, I'm probably a bit biased, considering I loved Gears 1 and didn't like Resistance.

 Not according to the people that have resistance(most of them), and gt, ign, gamespot, and most reviewers..

This video has my hyped for Resistance 2, and to a lesser extent, Gears of War 2. I know that Cliff Blezinski likes to talk about how much bigger, better and more badass Gears of War 2 will be, but the jump from Resistance 1 to Resistance 2 seems huge while the leap from Gears of War 1 to Gears of War 2 seems like a baby step. Of course I would rate Gears of War 1 higher than Resistance 1, so Resistance had more to improve upon in my eyes.

And I wasn't a fan of either game's multiplayer. But co-op for each sequel looks and sounds great. Resistance 2 has it's custom co-op campaign with classes, and Gears of War 2 has horde mode which sounds like it'll be a blast.

Since when does gameplay = Weapons??
