LBP is overrated it won't help much.

Alot of people with less then 50 posts, no avatars and no signatures coming in here and acting tough.

I think the 360 will outsell the PS3 for the next 2 to 3 weeks WW because of their increase in NA. Then the numbers will level off again and it wont outsell the PS3 again WW this year, and most of next year if not all of it.

Theres my equally un qualified and un supported prediction. Bet mine is closer to right then yours though.

Oh, and LBP will be huge.

One day I'll get around to doing all that profile stuff... As for the prediction... it's got some backing to it... the 360 did well in japan in Aug... if it had hit normal numbers on the 3k weeks the difference would have been 3-4k for the month... that's a far cry from last year. I see the Arcade and now the pro 360s selling like ice cream on a hot Tennessee night so I think the US alone could very well make up for Other...

Disgaea 3 doing very poorly & there is only 3 exclusives remaining for this year ... also know that all the multiplats games sell better on 360.

They're all plausible, but I think you're a bit on the PS3-doomsday side of things.

It seems like even with the restock the 360 is a "maybe" over PS3, and that's with IU dropping. I say no to Japan.

As for NPD, you just may be right, we Americans love a bargain.

But for LBP... Just no. LBP is basically gauranteed to sell a mil US alone by 2009.

I doubt 360 will win NPD every month for rest of year... I agree LBP might not be a monster... and even with two strong jRPG exclusives 360 has only seen the most gentle of spikes (that latest no more than a week or so) in Japan, so I don't agree there.

Prediction #1 is possible, but not likely. Just look at October. The only system selling game coming to America on 360 is Fable II. Compared to PS3 with SOCOM: Confrontation, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Eternal Sonata, BioShock and LittleBigPlanet, 360 has little hope of winning October in America.

Prediction #2 depends upon the quality of the game. However, hype for the game is at the point where it should do well even if it doesn't fully live up to expectations and there hasn't been a critically negative preview of the game yet, so it most likely will meet and far exceed your sales expectations.

Prediction #3 is no chance of happening. Preliminary sales for 360 this week appear to be the same as PS3 sales, which are at a low. Considering that PS3 is getting Eternal Sonata in Japan next week and Cross Edge the week after that, this prediction has absolutely zero chance of happening.

October its Fable 2 and Fallout 3 which really go well with the Xbox 360 Arcade as they are both single player games and they are rare AAA games for this genre.

November its Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 2 (The biggest pure shooter release this year)

You've got an awesome new low price and some pretty good deals like the Netflix/Radio offer and the new more friendly interface. I think its definately possible that prediction #1 could come true.

with such big title games coming, 360 sure have an excellent sale in the holiday season.
