They're all plausible, but I think you're a bit on the PS3-doomsday side of things.
It seems like even with the restock the 360 is a "maybe" over PS3, and that's with IU dropping. I say no to Japan.
As for NPD, you just may be right, we Americans love a bargain.
But for LBP... Just no. LBP is basically gauranteed to sell a mil US alone by 2009.
