I thought the first Motorstorm was horrible anyway..so this game wasn't even on my radar. I do have Qore tho, and when I get home I'll probably at least check out the demo, but I don't expect much because IMO we didn't get much with the first.

I just played it this morning. It's very well done. Not sure what he is talking about.
Has anyone that got the demo figured out how to use the motion steering? I have never played the original with the stick, and I could not figure out a way to use motion in this demo, and I hated it. With the motion the first game was one of the best arcade racers I have ever played. It was a feel I want from MS2. I know that this contorl style will be in the final game, but I wish the demo would have allowed me to try it out to make sure they didn't mess it up. If I get this and they have F'ed up the controls I can see my time with MS 2 being very short.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

If you think Pure is better, (and I thought Pure was woeful), then Motorstorm 2 must be really bad.

I just played the Motorstorm demo and I thought it was pretty good. The graphics is in need of more polishing, but the controls felt right at home (punishes you for f'ing up a turn or jump, unlike the very forgiving learning curve of Pure). I like the addition of the new side crush moves the bestt. Unlike Pure, this game is supposed to be about choatic racing and taking advantage of environment around you. Pure is more of a casual trick-atv game (which isn't bad). The only thing that I wish ,was that Evolution used a lava or water stage instead of a rather simple jungle stage.

They will probably be keeping the bigger and better levels under wraps. I didnt know theres lava tho....

Sort of like your recent Banjo Kazooie 3 thread? Or you're regular putting down of Lost Odyssey relative to White Knight Chronicles?

i wont be getting banjo if its mostly driving, and LO i traded it back in at the begining of dvd4 i thought it had gotten to boring.
its irrelevant to OT
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
I'd take Motorstorm over Pure based on demos. Pure felt very floaty and unrealistic for the driving physics - Motorstorm more realistic if less forgiving.
Also, got to lol at the 'this game is terrible!' reactions to one view before the game is even released. You take any game and I'll find you people who don't like it, etc. It's not that Leo-J's opinion is invalid, but its a little extreme to assume its going to be exactly representative of the majority.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
