this game says E+ rating all over it......
and 4-15 on the age range.
no offense but i liked b+k before all these little kiddie type stuff was in it.

why are they marketing to kids when the largest buying audience for this game will be people who played the original.

Probably to expand the fanbase of the series

rare is definitely under new direction....
oh where art thou stamper brothers?!?!?!

Banjo-Kazooie has always been E+, so I'm not really sure what you are talking about.

Skeeuk - Microsoft found out that Viva Pinata sold like hotcakes at more kid-friendly prices. I think that they're trying to target the "casual" audience with more casual prices.

well viva-pinata came in at £39.99 in the uk, it did suprisingly well there was a tv show of it and there was mini figures on sale from the viva world

as i can recall, microsoft dropped the price of the game after rare complained that gears of war got all the attention in the advertising and hype budgets, so mabey thats why they dropped price. it was then £24.99 in shops

so mabey your right, that they are delivering the game in cheaper, off topic kindof but gaiden 2 price was very low also its averging at £24.99 instead of lets say grid which is still £37.77 or £39.99 new

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Seems like they're mainly just hating on the vehicles because it's a different style of gameplay from the original.

I'm not a big fan of platformers, so it was doubtful I'd buy this game anyway, but the vehicle alteration of gameplay at least seems interesting to me. Interesting enough that I'll at least try out a demo

BK purists will probably be disappointed, but the much larger audience of players that have never played the games may like the new direction better. Or not :P

i mean it in the way that it is REALLY E+, not just E+,

according to tv ratings the scale goes

Y            Y7            Y7FV             G             PG              14                MA

eC          E               E10            T               M                Ao

this game is E bordering on eC

B+K never tried for a cartoony appeal in the past, it was just pretty much all that was available to them without being Teen. This is like i jumped into a toy bin. this feels more kiddy than little nemo's dreamland for nes.

Then again you must understand that this is just my opinion. maybe i have just myself grown up and past games were also filled with daisies and non-sharp baby friendly edges that i just don't remember.

dont hate on nemo

well everyone to thier own opinions, but if it comes out at £19.99 new thats a good deal for a new game.

I was hoping for a comeback. Hopefully it will be better than they think. I haven't pre-ordered it yet or anything, so I'll wait on reviews.
