ok, well, what is your OPINION, do you think the 360 can outsell/tie the ps3?

and if you think that it can, then how long do you think it will continue doing that for?

Possible = Yes
Likely = Yes
Do I think it will? = No
Why? = Because I like to see the PS3 succeed as much as possible... even if it means
having minor delusion of happiness....

but sales will be very close between the ps3 and 360

 Very good point--no matter what the sales are, the price drop will only have been in effect for two days of this week.

As stated above, 2 days of price cuts people! Lets give it at least one more week....hhmmm.

The lowest the PS3 will probably sell 50k. The 360 would have to sell 95k in N.A. to win Chances are 70/30 against the 360. If the 360 sells less than 60k then the price drop was a failure.

A slowing down in hardware sales and a constraint in media storage (DVD) and the 360 could be finished within 14 months. Good to know my PS3 will keep me gaming for the next 7 years(atleast) without having to buy a new console and all new acessories(since none are included) which can amount to $500 every 3 and a half years which seems to be the XBox brand's trend.

The only reason I say it might not is because the 360 supply in Japan hasn't been restocked yet so its sales are down and the price cut hasn't taken place in Japan yet.

If Microsoft would cut the price of the 360 in Europe then I would see it having no problem outselling the PS3 on a weekly bases from now until the Holidays.
