by the way, was Medal of Honor: Airborne always gonig to be on Wii? i thought it was ps3/360 only.

he did mention a secret first-party game being built to use the zapper...

Everybody is so busy with trolling at each other that we're losing the real meaning of this thread,... anyway... can somebody answer this for me...

Did I hear it right of what Reggie said? Mario Kart Online = World Wide Online? Did I get the drift correctly that with this game we can play against each other from all regions?

I believe so yes.  We always could with Friend Codes though.

VGchartz should take the Wii off the salescharts since it isnt a gameconsole anymore.....

When i want too sport i go to the gym, when i want to game i play a videogame. Is that too hard to understand Nintendo? Not everyone likes to work out in their livingroom, atleast i don't and i'm sure 90% agrees with me (except the Diehard Nintendo fans) Working out in your livingroom is meant for retards imo.

Why not join the army instead of playing FPS?

Because you can die in the army.  Gaming to me (and I'm sure others) is about the seperation between real life and fiction.  I've always thought about games as interactive movies, books, and simulating what you can't do in real life, not excersize tapes.

It seems the mods need help with this forum.  I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.

Don't get me wrong. Wii Fit is a great workout thing for home. Atleast a lot better and fun than those things you see on the commercials. But as a gamer I dont really care about this. This thing is meant for my mom not for me....

^^it aint much, if it aint dutch^^

You cannot expect Nintendo to come out with 170000 brand new first-party games, 899 pieces of hardware and massive updates to every game ever published every E3 can you?

OK so the press conference wasn't to your liking, but it's not for you - it's for the press.

Compare with Microsoft's conference - was it better? Yes. That should be enough.

I assume Sony's dead in the water even with the price cut.

Ubuntu. Linux for human beings.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

wiigirl - he said worldwide online yes. he also said "more players" -- maybe 8 players online? that'd be pretty sweet.

Sounds like this conference was at least more interesting than MS. A few online announcements, new peripherals, more expanding the gamer market. Though I haven't seen the conference, I gleaned a good deal from what you guys typed. Thanks for the blow-by-blow. I give it a solid B-
