No, that's what you want E3 to be about.

"Pulling their own rope" per say? ...and what's so great about an exercise game? Am I missing the point of video gaming? I can go outside and run or do push-ups in my living room. :/ I want story lines, new worlds... and things I can't do in real life. |

Ninty did go in for the Kill, games like Wii fit are going to be like the brain age equivalent for the Wii |
Not a bad thing considering that those games are the main reason why the DS is doing so well.

Exactly, E3 isn't about the gamers, if you notice Gamers aren't even invited for the most part, its a press conference, and Wii fit will get a lot of press
Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)
I don't see what Nintendo are doing with the releases of their 'big' games any different to previous generations.
Of course Nintendo fans want a BIG nintendo game like metroid, mario or smash every month of the year, but at least they have games that make their hardware sell in between to other people and to tide them over until the next big hit arrives.
It almost seems to me like the Nintendo of N64 and GameCube era with a completely not 'casual' division... the big games are going to come, maybe 3 or 4 or 5 a year if we're lucky with a bucketload of easy casual fun games to play in between... it's like GameCube and N64 all over again for hardcore I suppose, but it keeps selling and sells high because of the appeal to the rest of the market, rather than trying to compete they are being different.
I really like it... i REALLY like it.
E3 is about gamers. Casual gamers dont watch E3. Casual gamers dont watch G4TV. Casual gamers dont come here and talk about games. Casual gamers dont go to IGN to see how the progress on their favorite is comming.
It would seem that the media companies are comming to a screeching halt, up-talking the Wii.
I'm actually amazed all you guys arent saying 'OMFG NINTENDO OWNED MICROSOFT. NINTENDO WILL RULE FOR ALL TIME!!!'
The fact you guys are kinda iffy and reserve... Really makes me think nintendo failed to do what you are meant to do at E3. Impress, amaze, and entertain.
If Sony takes home E3, I think sony might be able to win this one agian, becuase sales will skyrocket. G4TV is talking about Halo3 and Killzone2 still. Their already over Nintendo. LOL

Ehhh, that stuff didn't really interest me that much, at least not enough to want to pick up a Wii just for those games. However, I can't wait when my friends who do own Wii's get some of those games as playing Wii in a group can be loads of fun.
I kind of want to giggle at the name, Zapper. I guess they want to make sure it sounds child/adult friendly, oh well.

Exactly! I almost bounced on the floor of surprise when Miyamoto came up with the WII Fit Board... if this ain't hot news for the press then I don't know what it is...

Kwaad dude, this press conference was exactly the way Nintendo needed it to be to continue their current trend... if they went for gamers games they will lose again and that's what makes them lose.
I'm so surprised at how many people don't 'get' it yet.
