I don't see what Nintendo are doing with the releases of their 'big' games any different to previous generations.

Of course Nintendo fans want a BIG nintendo game like metroid, mario or smash every month of the year, but at least they have games that make their hardware sell in between to other people and to tide them over until the next big hit arrives.

It almost seems to me like the Nintendo of N64 and GameCube era with a completely not 'casual' division... the big games are going to come, maybe 3 or 4 or 5 a year if we're lucky with a bucketload of easy casual fun games to play in between... it's like GameCube and N64 all over again for hardcore I suppose, but it keeps selling and sells high because of the appeal to the rest of the market, rather than trying to compete they are being different.

I really like it... i REALLY like it.
