They never said that, it was just assumed.

 

OT: Technically, Winter 2008 could be anytime until the end of January, but I before Christmas would be the most logical plan.  YAY--the earlier Japan gets it, the earlier WE get it XD.  Anyone think we'll get it on the same day as them?  We did for KH2.

I don't get how the Japanese are so in love with the DQ series which use the same elements over and over and over and over and over again...damn! DQIX looks exactly like DQVIII except for worse graphics. Thank God the FFS at least look different.

  DQIX is on a console with far lower capabilities in every way than DQ8.
