Forums - Nintendo - How many of you are dissapointed by Nintendo?

As a PS3 fan i'm actualy pleased that the Wii is targeting new demographics and expanding the gaming industry in a way we've never seen before , the Wii doesn't apeal to my personal tastes but I can't argue against it's 30 million install base because it seems to be to alot of other peoples tastes , it's a personal thing really.

there's been a few gaming channels on TV but they all seem to come and go but the first one the came this gen looks like it's here to stay for good it even has a +1 Channel !! I think it's called Pulse , Nintendo may have contributed to the growth enough to make gaming dedicated TV channels a possibility.

Not for me

The Wii has never really managed to fill the potential that it shows, there is so much that could be done and so little that actually has been. The DS on the other hand is simply the greatest system ever.

Agree.

However even the mighty DS suffers from a poor third-party support in the first 1.5 years. And then were the japanese one to pick up the DS, the western publisher start to truly support DS only in 2007 ( with some exception like Vicarious Vision ).

Many forget because there is a now an avalanche of good game for Nintendo's portable but the only good DS third-party the first year was Castlevania DoS.

Give time to the Wii to blossom ( even more time than the DS ha because the development cycle is greater on Wii than DS ).

Not me. But I probably will be if they don't get some core games out for '09 and '10, since they said their teams were hard at work.

My main reason for disappointment with the Wii is the control scheme... the Wii is gonna have a great library by the time Nintendo goes for a new console, there's no point in crying about the Wii as having not enough good games, there are good ones now and more are coming. However, for the Wii I have a motto - if you can use a Gamecube controller, please do!

So you are looking forward to wii Music?  And you were happy with the Virtual Boy...  Are you happy Nintendo has not tried to get more or better third party games, they are bringing massive amounts of cash in and do little with it.

 I agree with Pichu

I am looking forward to Wii Music

The Virtual Boy came out earlier than me

I am happy that Nintendo has business sense, and dosen't do those silly things you want them to.

I might give it a shot.

Yes.

I agree, Nintendo should buy Tecmo.

You know what Nintendo spends its money on? Do tell.

im disappointed with what u all casual gamers dont care about.. and that is retro gaming.. VC is too over priced which made me go back to emulation or piracy.. sorry i cant buy a game i owned 2 times for more then 5$
i was expecting some online on the old games or atleast paying monthly like game tap. There VC service is crappy and very over priced, and this shows that they dont care about hardcore retro gamers
