This info comes from Creamsugar (a Japanese dude who gets info like this becauseof his translation skillz).

I expect this to be announced at TGS.

More Wii RPGs FTW! :D Hope it's made by Camelot.

 

 Meh...Shining Force was never that good of a game anyway but who knows maybe this one'lll actually end up being good and i'll end up liking it.

The Shining Series before Shining Force 3 (included) is good... At least good.

Does the article say a new SHINING game or one of the Force variety? I know that hasn't meant much lately but since the DS Force game actually is a SRPG, it may apply to the Wii game too.

Just in case you didn't know, the PS2 Force games aren't true Shining Force games. Normally the SRPGs got the Force title. Everything else in the Shining Universe didn't. They messed up on the last two PS2 games by giving them Force titles.

Yeah, thats what I think too. They made it a Force title to try to draw the old crowd back. It might have helped to sell more, but it might have ruined the Force brand. Lots of PS2 players don't know what a true Shining Force game is. If the game isn't to their liking, they might stay away from all future Force games and it's not even what Shining Force is really like.

Soul was more like a 2d Phantasy Star Online.

Sweet! I cut my SRPG teeth on Shining Force I and II. You bet I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Nice to see Wii getting some RPGs worth caring about.
