I don't want PC gaming to die. I want the elitist attitude we get from PC-only gamers to die.

 For some it is jealousy,but some just want it to die.

I think the people that want it to die is so the game companies that develop games on pc,would instead develop for the consoles.

Well I hate how PC gamers were the original fanboys and they had a hollier than thou act that they displayed.

Especially when contrary to their thoughts. Console gaming was first (in the home).

I don't want PC gaming to die though. I like MMORPGs better, and I think some Super multi-platform games in the future are a definate doability on PC. PLus there is Blizzard.

For the most part I prefer to GAME on consoles.

This. It's alway better to be both in my opinion (console and PC owner). You get the best games on PC while still having access to the best games the consoles have to offer.

I prefer playing multiplayer games on a console than PC. Online PC games are mostly FPSs, and while it's fun to play LAN against 8+ people... Not playing in the same room is not the same feeling as playing, let's say, Halo 3 in 4-player split-screen. Best fun you'll get from a FPS in my opinion!

No, I finally upgraded my PC and am enjoying how quickly PC games drop in price.

Why? Gamepads are just another tool for playing games, why not use the right tool where required? Is it also sad and pathetic that certain consoles now support keys+mouse for FPS?

only 1 person has ever told me that a keyboard and mouse r better besides u, and personally i think controllers r better for da same reasons u think keyboards and mice r better. i feel more comfortable using a controller.

and no, ur right, i dont know wat most computer monitors resolution r....please do tell. although i can tell u 1 thing most, if not all computer monitors r not 50" or more which is something i like...dont ask me why, i just like da bigger screens. 

i personally think PS3 and 360 have far more better games, but hey, everyone has their own opinion.

i knew someone would bring this up, and ur right anyone can hook up their pc to their tv, but there is 1 problem, my pc is like 20 miles away from my tv(not literally, but u know wat i mean), so i cant just take some cable and connect my pc 2 my tv.

like i said, everyone has their own opinion and my opinion is that pc gaming sucks, but hey, thats just me, and there is nothing anyone can do 2 convince me 2 like pc gaming.

 I couldn't agree more with this statement.  But it doesn't matter what I or any other console gamer wants because it's PC gamers that pirate their games (and there are many) that are driving many PC development studios to consoles.
