Afrika did pretty well for its first day. I'm surprised at BF:BC, I thought Japan doesn't appeal to FPS

Well, compared to the west they don't sell too great, but good ones can sell 100k+. Resistance & COD4 have both done that on PS3. Resistance was a launch title though, so it will be interesting to see how the sequel does.

That's pretty good for Battlefield. Not bad for Afrika, presumably it won't be as front loaded as most other PS3 games.

So how much do you think it will sell first week? The 360 version of BF:BC sold just over 14K the first week in Japan.

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

If they have to make it expand to gain more money, Afrika wont sell well in America and Europe unless it is geared towards the younger audience and casual audience.

That's why I think it's pretty good seeing as it already released on 360 two months ago. Will probably be around 20k first week, might end up around 50k across both formats, which is respectable for Japan.
Afrika could a,one hit 50k in Japan... not bad seeing that the game is far from being heavily advertised and it wasnt on many gamers radar...
