I saw this thread and made a bet with myself, I said the 3rd reply would be the first to bash Gamespot for their reviews of Wii titles.

I lost that bet, but I still have fun reading your guys posts. Keep it up.

It's not just that they hate Wii titles. They gave R&C:ToD a 7.0 and PES 2008 (PS3) a 6.0.

 Well the reason for the low review of Ratchet and Clank:ToD is because the reviewer had only reviewed sports games in the past,so he isnt much of a fan of Platformer/action games.(Still this is another reason that their reviews arent credible,the person who reviewed the last ratchet and clanks should of reviewed this one,or anyone else who isnt only a sport genre lover).

As for PES 2008 this was the worst version of PES series and FIFA did turn out better last year.

Who is Gamespot and why does their opinion matter to me?

Only played the training mode so far, controls feel good so far. I'm really enjoying the buddy moves (the attack/quick throw one is especially fun to do........but hard to pull off all the time, the double jump is too easy).

Whatever the case, I don't trust them after the Jeff Gerstmann firing along with all the other people that left.

6.5..... well that's atleast an 8 for regular core gamers and casual gamers.

To be honest, looking at the text of a lot of these reviews, they wanted to give it a lower score than they actually did. The controls do not please everyone.

Well to be fair, these types of games aren't aimed at the people who read gaming magazines.
