Incongruent comparison. Rape is a violent crime commited by violent criminals.

However, poverty has shown to be inflicted by the person who is poor. The top ranked causes of poverty are all personal choices and include; not finishing high school/GED, having children that the person can't afford, and drug addiction.

Infact there are studies that show that the worst financial disaster that can befall a poor person is to win or inherit a very large sum of money. Poor people who win millions in lottery money are usually imporvished within a year.

I look at it like this. Poverty is like alcoholism. Poverty is a problem with money, alcoholism is a problem with alcohol. You cant treat alcoholism by just giving the alcholic booze, that makes no sense. They need support and education. For poor people, the worst thing that can be done is to give them money when what they need is education and support.

Of course that's logical and doesnt emotionally satisfy those who see the poor as victims of hard workers.

Obama is the best man to handle the economy. Obama will withdraw US troops from Iraq. In contrast McCain wants to increase the war efforts by sending more troops to Iraq. Sending more troops to their death beds, 5000 dead American troops and rising.

Iraq war has resulted in a drain of three trillion dollars which could of been injected into the US economy, improve education, improve health systems and build new infrastructure within America.

America is getting smashed in Iraq it is just another Vietnam War which can not be won.

George Bush has failed epicly with the American economy. Hard work families in America have lost their houses due to the credit crunch, increasing unemployment rates, increase in oil prices and trillions of dollars being throw away on two wars Iraq and Afghanistan which can not be won. Wars resulting in deaths of 5000 American troops.

I hate this saying with a passion. It doesn't say anything and it is never correct. Back in the 40's a poor person couldnt afford food and cloths, now an average poor person has 1 car, an apartment, a tv, cable, cell phones, and cloths. It seems to me that the poor have gotten richer. It's such a stupid and asinine saying.

It would be better to say: "The rich keep doing the things that make them rich (work, invest, live within their means) and the poor keep doing the things that make them poor (spend, dont save, have children they can't afford)."

The rate of unemployment has increased under Bush due to the slow economy in USA. There has been an increase in homeless rates of people. Jails are over flowing with people being locked up for small misdemeanours in USA. USA locks more people up per capita than anywhere else on the planet.

George W. Bush has not done much for American society as a whole.

Obama will handle economy with Big Budget Spending and Tax Rise how will that help? I Mean Media love Barrack but his policies are progressive( Like progressives in beginning of the 20th century) in a left wing way. America does not need a Democrat who only knows how to spend, because economy is not doing well. America needs a change from Bush's administration but all that Barrack has is Media Love and nothing else.

Obama as a president will stand for more isolationist policies, he will give much more freedom to Russia and Iran, which today maybe cant harm american Interest but one day hell they will.


America needs to stay in iraq because they went there in a first place, they made a mess out of it and they need to clean it up, withdrawing would result in a collapse of Iraq and bloodshed between religious and ethnic groups.
