Forums - Microsoft - Gears of War coming to a PC Near You!

I wants Dead Rising to come out for PC still. Then again, this old laptop isn't a gaming machine, and I've not the 1.5k required to buy a decent one, so I suppose I can wait.

I swear I called this much earlier in my posting.

See Ya George.

"He did not die - He passed Away"

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

If you watch the video, you can see it tells you to hit "x", "y" ect. just like the 360 version.

I would bet they were using the 360 controller on windows.

And I agree that gears is definitly a console game. I've never thought 3rd person worked that well with mouse and keyboard.

Dead Rising is definately a good game and better than I was expecting.  I expected it to just be basically an arcade game and was surprised that it has an interesting story and depth.  It's the type of game you can play through several times without getting bored because it's really fun to find all the different ways to kill zombies and you'll be able to do things you missed in previous runs through the game.  I hope it goes to other platforms because it deserves even more sales for Capcom.

It works both ways. Many Xbox 360 games end up on PC, but many PC games end up on Xbox 360. They're remarkably similar to develop for, and both are essentially Microsoft platforms. I don't see a negative.

Gears of War is Microsoft's IP so they can do what they want with it.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

This is exactly the negative effect of releasing games on the PC a year after 360.

Looks positive to me :P  If the games are really that good on the 360 and the chance of getting them on pc.  I see no need for 360 :) PC ftw.  See MS is about the $$$. Most ppl have a PC, so it's a given that ppl who like Halo or now Gears will enjoy paying for it on pc.  The only part of MS I like... The PC Software :D
