The only games I would like to see on the VC is the 2 greatest games ever made by Enix, and 1 of the series happens to be in noname2200's sig (on a side note, the better one isn't in his sig).

Alright, now I'm intrigued. Are you going with the mainstream like Dragon Quest here, or something more indie a la Robotrek or the Soul Blazer trilogy?

I only see 2 games in your sig.  And one of them is leaps and bounds better than the other.  The better one I'm referring to is in the same series of games as one of the ones in your sig.

I know that this game is as far from one of Enix's mainstream franchises.  Shouldn't be hard to guess since I hope you know where those pics came from, although many people probably have no idea where the lesser known one is from.

Oh, I didn't pick the games by accident (it's my "Now Playing" list). Since the series is pretty small, comparatively speaking, shall I hazard that you're referring to either Tactics Ogre or MotBQ?

Although I could be wrong, since I'm still stuck in the mindset that the Ogre series is a Quest creation. Why Squeenix doesn't do anything with the liscense is beyond me, but they must. We're just two episodes away from the finale (and a half-dozen away from knowing the full story...)!

I want World Heroes, what an odd fighting game =) That and Time Killers.

@noname, I don't consider Tactics Ogre the genre I'm referring too, it may be in the same universe, but they are actually different series. Now you have Ogre Battle 64: Persons of Lordly Caliber in your sig, that game is absolutely amazing, but it is pathetic in terms comparison to March of the Black Queen on SNES. I consider Tactics Ogre to Ogre Battle like Final Fantasy Tactics to Final Fantasy #.

So no one cares about the awesomenicity that is Ys I+II? :(

Noname am sad now.

I love the YS series. A worthy download. However, if you want Nintendo to add more great stuff to the VC, the Wii must sales must drop in the US. They try to release the games strategically (the good stuff comes when there is nothing exciting on the horizon). The Japanese VC is so awesome because the Wii is not sold out everywhere, they do that to keep the gamers interested.

IGN put up there review for this game, they gave it an 8.5,thats a great score.

While yours is a sound theory, I'm mostly okay with the VC as it is; apart from a handful of rare classics, I got most of what I wanted from previous generations already (gimme the Ogre Battle series, and the rest of the Ys games, and I'm a happy camper).

Besides, I can't download more stuff now, 'cuz my 512 megs has been used up.

It's a great score for an awesome game. The soundtrack alone makes it worthwhile: the fast-paced gameplay makes it divine.

I second that thank you letter... within the past 2 weeks Nintendo has treated us loyalists very well with the VC... Mega Man, Samurai Shodown and now my most anticipated VC release yet, Ys Book I & II! I spent 3 straight hours playing that game after work today, haven't had this much fun playing a game in i don't know how long... I've always been a fan of the Ys series but never got to play the originals, and for 8 bucks its a steal!

This game and Strong Bad have been the only reasons I've bothered turning on my Wii over the past few weeks... talk about a dry spell! Well hopefully sales of Ys will be strong enough that Hudson releases the TG16 versions of III and IV... I have III on the SNES but have heard that the TG16 version is superior, and IV was never released in the US before.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Honestly i don't know that game but you really love it right? :P
