I'm going abroad and not sure if I'll have a TV. Whats the simplest way to play Wii games on my laptop?

I've used it before, but not for my Wii. It's still worth a look. I'm not sure if a S-Video/AV cable exists for the Wii though...
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
I think some laptops graphics cards have the inputs even today you'd just need to buy an adaptor. That failing I'm not exactly sure, my PC has component inputs but to be honest there's a lag in gaming on a PC..
You can also try buying a TV card, I think they normally come with a variety of connection options.
You could try a USB powered web TV DVR device or capture box, but they often cost about as much as the Wii itself, even for the cheaper ones.
Haven't tried it myself, but give me some time and I'll give it a shot.
Unless you're visiting some place really rustic or 3rd world poor, I would think they would have TVs in their rooms.
If you shop around you could get a capture card for about 40 to 60 dollars (CND that is) It might sound expensive, but it has many other uses like recording game footage, Video from your TV, ect.
(PS I'd recommend a Gamebridge.)

Okay, the external DVR device works via laptop.
No reason why it shouldn't have since you'd only be using it as a video input device, but yes, I can play Wii games using my laptop's display.
I'm using a Miglia TVMax with a Powerbook. All you need is the USB device with software to support whatever OS you're using.
Big question do you have speakers that are independent of your Laptop and do they have the composite audio inputs?
Caveat one: the lag makes game play unplayable. I can't recommend this set up for anything but video capturing, and only if you were running the DVR as a secondary video source (not possible without additional signal splitting equipment anyway).
While I'm sure there are better capture devices that would result in less delay, for the price you end up paying, you would probably be better off just buying a small, cheap flat panel display.

Any USB type AV capture device will have the RCA stereo inputs.
The problem is not with the audio (it works fine on through the laptop's speakers), it's with the motion tracking lag, making it essentially impossible to play games with.
If your laptop has an S video cable it's easy, there's S video cables people make for the Wii, I've seen a lot of people play their Wii on their laptop, but I'm not sure how they attach their sensor bar.
