20 is cheap, basd on what I've heard will be added as DLC...I exepect it to be $29.99, so $20 is great.

DLC you have to pay for for a repetative game, well done.

In all honesty, alot of people got bored of this particular GTA very quickly, shame really, had the potential to go far. DLC won't cut it for the masses.

was a PS3 exclusive, Like i've always said. If GTA it would be a far better game. It's not like R* are short for cash.

It must be tiring to diss all the things you can't get, huh? ah, the hard life of a corporate puppet.

Rockstar said that the 360s without hard drives, and MS's policy that games have to work the same across all 360 models, held the game back (360 and PS3).

Please provide a link.

I really hope it's something nice. If it's just more of the same, then it's a pass for me. GTA4 got really boring for me, and it was a struggle to finish it. I loved the wacky things you could do in GTA3/Vice City/San Andreas. While I liked GTA4's more realistic approach, I also miss the huge variety of things you could do in the older games.

If it's a new island, so what. It's going to be the same thing you've been doing, just in a slightly different looking area. If it's new missions, I'll pass, I found most of GTA4's missions repetitive and boring. But if they add back some of the old things you could do (planes, fire truck/ambulance/vigilante missions, rampages, buying property, and a ton of other crap) then I'll definitely be jealous of XBox360 owners of GTA4.

Hell, when I really think about it, GTA4 took 3 steps forward (physics, graphics, controls) but then took 10 steps back (lack of variety in things to do).

bah i couldnt care less what it is, this game is so last month

Unless this plans to add TONS more things to do and not be as boring and repetitive as the singleplayer game, it may be worth it.

Otherwise, I think it could be too late. I was so bored making it through the game that I couldn't give a crap about the DLC, especially DLC that's going to cost money.

It's going to add over 10 hours of Storyline/gameplay, new cars, clothes, etc. It will most likely be worth it.

Nearly everything about that doesn't even interest me based on my time with GTAIV. The only thing that would interest me is some new storyline because while the story of GTAIV isn't amazing, it was still enough to at least want to brave through the boring and repetative missions to see the end. Believe it or not, I liked how they built up the relationship with Roman and thus, I opted to keep him alive and let Kate die.

Otherwise,

New Cars, clothes, and weapons, ect are all getting a big fat - "So what?" from me.

I could care less what gets a so what. Something new is all it is. The storyline is extended. Trust me if this DLC was free for all on 360 and PS3 the PS3 fanboys would not be complaining and you know it.

lol that's a big IF and it's not going to happen that way.

We already know that Microsoft paid $50 million for this DLC and it's exclusive to the 360 (though I think it'd make it's way to PC too) so why even attempt to use 'free' and 'on ps3' in the same sentence when talking about the DLC?

Again, the only thing interesting about GTAIV's story, in my opinion, was when the big events happened. That was the only thing that kept me playing because while commical, seeing the crazy people you're doing missions for gets boring too. Thus, how much of that rumored 15 hours is going to be interesting? Or will it just be 15 hours of repetative missions from even more crazy people where you have to sit through cut-scenes of them screaming and yelling at you to do to the same things you did in the main story?

I liked the other girls you can date. Carman is awesome.

I was sad when the stuff with Michelle happened. :(

But then with that and a constant barrage of calls on the cell phone, I quickly realized that I was wasting too much time going nowhere in the game.

You can dump them you know.

At the very least, hanging out with Little Jacob and Roman are probably the only people that didn't feel like I was wasting time with since they played such a crucial role in the story.

No it will not go to PC. It will be 1600 MS points on Xbox Live.

If you noticed like I did, Rockstar is trying to milk this game in its HD form, by starting from scratch. This is why its so repeititive and simple compared to the last game before it. The next GTA's will be much better. It's business. They are just hiding their cards and everyones buying it. With games like Saints Row 2 coming out looking amazing, it gives Rockstar very little incentive to hold back as much as they did with the first game.

If you dump all of the girls and finish most of the jobs until the next one comes, thats all you're really left with, until you meet Packie.

wow those poor guys getting one of those new $199 consoles without a hard drive are going to be upset.

When I bought a PS3 I was hoping the DLC wouldn't matter. After learning the price, I know I was right.

I mean, we already paid for the game. Why not just give it to us? This feels like one of those money whoring expansion pack deals...

It's called exclusivity. It's called business. I'm guessing that Sony forgot who they were dealing with. It's not whoring when the product is multiplatform. The developer is 3rd party and everything is up for grabs. Deal with the facts.

Nonono you didn't understand my point. I wasn't saying, "give it to us" as PS3 owners. I was saying, "give it to us" as GTA IV owners, 360 or PS3.

I dont think you should release a game, then charge people for DLC for that same game. If anything, just delay it a bit and give it to us out of the box. I think this whole expansion pack thing (for any game) is kind of a scam, they add in some bells and whistles and charge you half to a third of the price for the original game.

When people like a game they will buy Add-Ons for it. If any gamer likes GTA IV he will buy the DLC. Don't know what your problem is. Add-Ons are always a bit expensive, but if you really adore the game there should be no problem.
