Quantic Dreams is working on a demo of its bold new "emotion-based" adult thriller, Heavy Rain, it confirmed to CVG today.

In a brief chat following the incredible in-game demonstration, Quantic Games told CVG that a demo was planned, and it was looking into exactly what scenes would be included, although it wouldn't necessarily be the same demo we saw today (even though we think it'd be ideal).

It couldn't offer even a rough ETA either, but considering the game's not out until 2009 we wouldn't hold our breath.

The demo shown today, Quantic did reveal, is likely to appear as a "bonus level" in the final game, although it stressed that events within it are entirely seperate from the plot of the game itself, which the developer wants to keep close to its chest for now.

this is looking like a comletly unique title, a fresh gaming experiance.

ign earlier on stated that they cant wait to play through this, to be honest with u i cant wait either.

heavy rain is set to be an emotional masterpiece, with amoungst the best grafix ever seen.

A demo would be nifty..but it will probably release a month or less prior to the games release, or on the games release. I wouldn't expect much before that, but that's just me.

This is great news, i'm always sad when companies don't release demo's of their game. I know i was pissed when MGS4 never got a demo.
