I would say PS3 as well.
Because Sony seems more determined to make sure the PS3 has lasting appeal, plus of course MGS4 ;)

Yeah, it's always a gamble. But I think as the generation wears on, the 360 is going to really start showing its age. Plus I'd say Sony is the better for exclusives, since they're making so many of their own. I don't know how much of an issue it is for you, but I think Microsoft is spreading itself a little thin by trying to support both PC gaming and the 360, so a lot of their "exclusives" end up on PC anyway. If you're not into PC gaming, though, then I guess they're still Xbox exclusives to you.
That said, I guess it's really down to your choice in games. Personally, I vastly prefer the 360's current and near future library, but I do admire what Sony's doing even if I don't always dig the games so much.
I would go for a PS3, especially because of the BD, MGS 4 and Wifi
@obieslut
I'm fine with DVD movies thanks lol I'm not paying 30 dollars for a movie that really doesn't improve in the experience IMO, DVD is fine I love my DVD's and I'm not rebuying any of the movies I already have on DVD anyway haha.
The whole exclusives deal with Sony's devs is that most of Sonys big games kinda... suck IMO, KZ2 (hated KZ1 and don't care for the next one), R&C (I would rather they just go back to Spyro and make it good again), GoW3 (Don't get me started on GoW you won't be happy), and Warhawk/motorstorm just doesn't appeal to me...

Sadly, the only way to avoid that is to get all the platforms.
wow, the SONY love is really thick in the air today...

I own all 3 and since launch. IMHO I would go a PS3 now. If u don't own 1 for next years line up alone, u will regret it.
Don't get me wrong, the 360 is great, but u can play almost all of its games on the PS3 and if not then on PC. The PS3 has a much stronger line up next year and it's momentum will just keep on shooting up.
I use my PS3 for everything, wicked multimedia hub. Blu-ray ROX and if u have a HD TV is the only way to watch films. The DVD player has a better picture with more natural colours and "NO" colour bleeding, the 360's colours are way off. The OS and menu shits all over the 360's. The Sound shits all over the 360's and the music player with its visualizers ROX hard too. Plus, PS life is comming and that is another big plus.
Yeh sure, last year I would have said 360, but not now. The PS3 and it's firmware updates have come so far and the games are getting better and better. Come next year I will hardly touch my 360.
Oh, and the PS3 is almost fault proof, value for your $.

That's the deal I LOVE PC games and 360 has a fair amount of PC games. The only killer thing to me is that 360 doesn't support mouse and keyboard while UT3 (one of my favorite series) on PS3 has that support and mod support.

I would suggest buying a refurbished 20 gb PS3 from gamestop for about $300 and then later upgrading the hardrive.
You would have BC and a ps3 for about $350 in the long term which is about how much an xbox 360 would cost after live. Also, you NEED LittleBigPlanet!

Get a PS3. No hidden costs. There already are good exclusives (MGS4) and much more are coming. You will be able to play your PS2 games and you won't have to buy a standalone blu-ray player.
