I don't think ppl buying this game care about graphics that much. It's nice they upgraded it, but i would much rather they made a game that has graphics like this for core gamers.

What makes you think they won't? If they put this much effort into the graphics of a casual game, then they would likely be able to put good graphics in a core game, like Red Steel 2.

They have top tier studio making one of those games? Not that is following Nintendo better. Plus unlike that farcry port, this is at least using the TEVs. |
Yup, the same studio that made the first Prince of Persia trilogy and the first Splinter Cell game is behind this Petz game. A note of caution, though: Ubisoft Montreal is comparatively huge, so it's possible that only the rookies are working on this one. Still, judging by what little we've seen, and Ubisoft's president's comments on the matter, I think they've got some talent behind this one. Maybe not their very best, but not their worst either.
Which makes for a nice change, no?
Mensch! Diese Video ist besser!
Oh yeah and nice advertisement for Toyota Ubi-soft. Maybe they will get some endorsment funds from them to boost game development.

Du hast es geschaft! Don't know what that means but it sounds cool.
You'd think by now Nintendo would be all over this shit and have a Wii version of Nintendogs ready to roll out since the DS games have sold a hundred gazillion copies worldwide.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Nintendo is moving on to the next thing. Something they would feel fits the Wii better.
BTW, because it's graphics now show actual work being done, this is no longer shovelware. Shovelware means to just pile it on, like all those PS2 prots to the PSP and the Wii. This obviously just wasn't slapped together, aside from reusing gameplay already established.

Yes, Petz games are (heck, the series has been around since the GBA) but this title is a Wii-exclusive.
Wow--that actually looks very nice! I have no problem whatsoever with a QUALITY casual game--hell, I absolutely love Wii Sports AND Nintendogs. It's games that are 'crapped out' that piss me off (which this clearly isn't doing).
